Visible Strategies to help Region of Waterloo visually present and consolidate its strategic goals and progress with SEE-IT™

Software offers accountability to the public on regional projects they helped define

VANCOUVER, CANADA, March 17, 2009 — Today Visible Strategies, provider of the world’s most visually-engaging performance management and communications software, and the Region of Waterloo announced an agreement to bring the Region’s strategic plan and new environmental progress indicators to life on screen with Visible Strategies’ SEE-IT™ software. Now staff, councillors, and the community can quickly see the plans and results of ongoing regional efforts in the most visually-engaging manner possible saving time, money, and frustration for the Region, while providing the accountability the public is looking for on priority projects and issues they helped define.

The public launch of the Region of Waterloo’s SEE-IT is scheduled for Earth Day on April 22, 2009. It will include the Region’s strategic goals, actions, results, and new, highly-developed environmental progress indicators into pictures and interrelated scorecards at a centralized Web-hosted location - offering both an external view and a protected internal one. Consolidating disconnected, lengthy planning and reporting documents and presenting them in the most visually-engaging, interactive manner will ensure staff and stakeholders will be able to quickly see, understand, and provide input on where the Region is heading and their progress so far.
